It seems I did a mess with this file. Forgot to add the category in the comment and trying to correct it, I did even worse. If some admin read this, please correct my mistake. Right now there are several entries with the same pic and only the comment is different. There should be only 2: the old one and the 2nd, wich have the right comment. Trying to delete the 3rd image I created a new incorrect entry. Is there any way to delete the first and 3rd images? Right now it is a bit ugly Moinante (talk) 16:24, 5 November 2012 (EST)

I don't usually bother to delete old versions of files - nobody's going to see it unless they come to the actual file page. There are lots of files around the wiki that have had mistakes and revert histories, and hardly anyone ever notices any of that. But I have deleted the in-between file. I don't think I can delete the most recent version without deleting the whole file history, and it would seem odd to have the comment about reverting without the existence of the old reverted-to file version. But perhaps that looks a little better now?

Also, when you're uploading a new version of a file, you don't need to add the category as a comment. It was already categorized correctly before, and that will carry through to new versions too. For future reference.
