Questions are good things - better than wondering and avoiding progress for it. You can usually safely ignore sandbox links; RingTailCat can update his own sandbox if he feels the need. It's not so much about meddling as it is that sandbox pages are usually pretty transient, so there's no need to create extra work for yourself trying to keep others' up to date. In this case, it was correct to not edit my pages, as they are designed to detect both the presence and absence of items and/or icons. They aid in detecting the patterns of generic icons used in-game. In some other cases, it is appropriate to edit a user's sandbox pages, as in the case of the recent merge of Andreg.
