10th Anniversary Commemorative Soundtrack is a soundtrack compilation album, a selection of Chance Thomas' compositions from the various expansions he scored. The soundtrack was released by Chance Thomas' label HUGEsound Records on June 1, 2017, originally available in digital music stores but later made available as a "Collector’s Edition Double CD Package" directly from HUGEsound Records.

Production and Release

Most tracks on the album had been released on prior soundtrack albums, with "Chant for Sauron" and "Party in the Shire" being the only two previously unreleased. Both tracks rarely have been heard in-game. Fragments of "Party in the Shire" can be heard in the "Hills of the Shire" housing music item as well as in the Stomp-a-Shrew game, while "Chant for Sauron" (despite being written and recorded when Chance Thomas was working on the Shadows of Angmar soundtrack) was not heard in-game until the Epic Quest line in the Wastes.

Many tracks were remastered or reworked. For instance, "Moria" ("The Long Dark of Moria" in the Mines of Moria soundtrack) has sections cut out at the beginning while "Hills of the Shire" is extended from the version present on the Shadows of Angmar soundtrack.

The album was originally released for digital download, first directly from HUGEsound Records on June 1, 2017, and in other digital music stores on June 23. After seeing the demand for a CD release, a "Collector’s Edition Double CD Package" was released for sale directly from HUGEsound Records on September 7.
