This deed contributes to the Protector of Enedwaith meta-deed.
The recommended location to find wolves is the Black Dens ^{[60.7S, 13.3W]} in Fordirith.
There are 32-34 wolves in this location (8-10 outside the cave and 24 inside the cave). Just outside the cave, Fang of Shadows respawns exceedingly quickly.
Note: There is a wooden chest ^{[60.8S, 13.3W]} and a backpack ^{[60.6S, 13.3W]} in this location with a fast respawn.
Wolves can also be found throughout the plains of Fordirith.
Tip: You might as well do the Quest: Black Flames and Quest: Midnight Hunters while you are running about the Black Dens for some bonus reputation gains. The quests are obtained in nearby Echad Dagoras.
