Horseshoe

Perhaps there should be some mention of the horseshoe. One of the miners in the Training Camp suggests "one should always carry a lucky item in their pocket, like a horse shoe". Thus far, Erebrandir's Horseshoe has been the only such pocket item in the game. Then again, maybe it just means any pocket item with a large Fate bonus. Turbine is rather tight-lipped about its effects, but, as you may see in the linked page, Sapience (community spokesperson for the development team) swears that it is useful for some festivals (and epic quests). Even so, I have not noticed it being at all helpful for the Treasure Hunt (as compared to last year, when I did not have it). Still, I have seen the subject come up a couple times on the Regional channel this year during the event, so it is definitely a related point of interest. Of course, it is not yet established what effect, if any at all, the shoe has on treasure hunting. Halgoreth (talk) 17:59, 9 November 2013 (EST)

We do have a note on the Erebrandir's Horseshoe page about the possibility of it affecting the Treasure Hunt, among other things. If you think it should be mentioned here as well as a point of interest, I have no objections to your adding it, but I personally don't see it as necessary. I doubt we'll ever find out what effect it has - the mystery of it is kind of the point of the object, and Turbine enjoys it too much to reveal much more. -- Elinnea (talk) 13:43, 13 November 2013 (UTC)
