Thanks for clearing that up about crit rating, I was a little skeptical of the flat calculation formulae myself but I hadn't found a good alternative. I'm worried, though, that people looking for devastates won't find this article, since it's specifically named 'Critical Rating', which is of course the name of the actual numerical statistic of your character. You clearly included the appropriate text from the actual 'Critical Hit' article, but that article remains totally inadequate and people are far more likely to come to it first, get disappointed, and go look elsewhere (outside this wiki). Searching 'devastating hits' gets you this article, but on, like, hit number 13. I'd like this to be the main article and have critical hits and devastates redirect here, but this wiki seems not to support redirects. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Cenryth (Contribs • User Talk).

You can redirect via #REDIRECT [[link to target page]] as long as that's at the very top of a page. My (entirely personal) preference is for keeping redirects to a minimum, but you make good points about what people are likely to search for (we can't account for every search term, of course...). NP, I'm currently trying to work through all the combat related terms to tidy them up a little as there seem to be various terms in use all over the place. Some redirect to one place, but a similar term redirects somewhere completely different. I imagine it will take a while, but hopefully it will be a little neater in the end. Update 10 changes

I've added some notes from the Update 10 Dev diary under history.

Someone who "plays by the numbers" will have to read and evaluate the entire article for accuracy.
