I was about to create a new quest for The Rangers of Esteldín but there was no list of special characters for me to use. I tried to copy the word Esteldín from elsewhere, but after pasting it in and clicking, the button failed to work properly for me -- I just got a blank page with a strange URL. To play it safe I created the page by hand via the boilerplate with an i instead of an í. If anyone can fix this, I'd appreciate it. Or should we just put a warning on this page? (fixed) bugged, duplicate prefix on created page

currently this page is duplicating the "Quest:" prefix in the created page. for example, entering "Foo Bar" and pressing the create button results in a page with this url:

* https://lotro-wiki.com/index.php?title=Quest%3AQuest%3AFoo_Bar&action=edit&[...]

this can be corrected by manually changing the URL from ...=Quest%3AQuest%3AFoo... to ...=Quest%3AFoo... and reloading the page before editing, or by moving the page after creation.

Good catch, and I notice this is also affecting the other "Create new" pages that use namespace prefixes. Hopefully we can get it fixed soon. -- Elinnea (talk) 21:41, 5 June 2018 (UTC)
And it now appears to be working properly again. (All credit goes to lotroadmin!) -- Elinnea (talk) 03:26, 7 June 2018 (UTC)
