Small Changes Planned

I have already done some minor changes to this boilerplate but I intend to do more changes. Soon. In particular removing not-needed text and sub-headers.

Some sub-headers just make it for a very tall ToC but add no value. If the main header is well understood by anybody and contents is small enough we can use bold "headers" instead.

Repeated text are redundant when it is very obvious what comes under a heading. Anything that burden the reader rather helping should go away.

That said, I strongly believe in three things related to communication techniques:

  1. Editors should be pragmatic and use common sense, and use the boilerplate first of all but adapt to reality when needed
  2. Readers are intelligent adults, not in the need of being spoon-fed
  3. Irrelevant, repeated texts within lists of data hides valuable contents

I am open to discussions, as always. Cheers! — Zimoon 14:59, 29 December 2021 (UTC)

I am not sure what you are talking about here. Could you please explain what you mean a bit more? And perhaps also give some examples?
I may have some comments (and possibly also reservations), but I would like to wait until I know a bit more. Without having a complete picture it's kind of hard to comment, as you then don't even know what you're supposed to be discussing. :)

The changes were done on January 2, some days after my first comment. So if you had a look at the boilerplate today, then I understand you are wondering. Now I can just refer to the revision history. As you will see the changes were quite small, not turning anything upside down really. — Zimoon 20:02, 6 January 2022 (UTC)
I see. So there will be no discussion at all then?
Respectfully, I think you should allow for far longer than just a few days for discussion to take place! Especially over the holidays, when people may be away or otherwise not able to see it in time. Otherwise, it's completely pointless – not to mention against the whole spirit of the wiki, I think. :(
