I use the bannerguard with my captain. Either I'm not very observant or this effect is no longer a separate effect placed by the bannerguard, because I have not noticed it. I suspect it has become part of the bannerguard's normal aura along with the Banner of Protection, but I can't be sure (updating while game is having an update).
