General Information

Class: Lore-master

Level: 4

Training Price: 32 Copper

Traits

The trait Master of Beasts allowed you to have both Signs of the Wild active at the same time and enhanced these skills by making them remove up to three poison, wound, fear and disease debuffs with the maximum strength of five levels above your own from your pet.
The trait set bonus for The Keeper of Animals (3) enhanced this effect by adding another -5% attack duration.
The trait set bonus for The Keeper of Animals (4) enhanced this effect by adding another -5% attack duration, as well as extending the duration by ten minutes.

Effects

Using this skill caused  Sign of the Wild: Rage to occur on your pet.

Tactical Information

Sign of the Wild skills could be used out of combat and applied a buff to your pet. You could only have one active at a time, unless you had the Master of Beasts trait equipped. Sign of the Wild: Rage was a good choice if you wanted your pet's DPS to increase, or if you wanted it to tank for you. If you wanted the latter, it was especially useful to have a legendary book equipped with the legacy when using the skill. The pet's perceived threat could then increase to a total of 25%. Swapping to another book would not alter the already applied buff.

"ruyth" or "rûth"

Lore

The animation of Sign of the Wild: Rage showed the word ruyth, written in Tengwar. This was a small mistake of the creators of this game: if the anna rune would've been replaced by a long carrier it would have shown rûth, which can be translated as 'rage'.
