Ok... RTC -- this change I don't understand -- i.e. what the impact is --

old | name = Worse for Wear (Deed)

new | name = Worse for Wear

The name of the quest page is still "Worse for Wear (Deed)"; which is what the original "Create Quest" supplied. So what does changing the name parameter here do? (The basic siuation is that there are two quests -- in the same group -- with the same name.)

The search engine, given "Worse for Wear" responds ... "Did you mean: Warg-fur" -- lol. then lists both quests.

I thought this was just the standard thing we do. We remove "our" invented suffix from the name in the info box, because the default name is calculated using {{subst:PAGENAME}}. We could have added any old thing to the end of the in-game quest name to distinguish it from the pre-existing quest, or we could have renamed both, for instance, if I knew there were going to be two quests with the same name, I'd have used "Quest:Worse for Wear (Combe)" and "Quest:Worse for Wear (Hengstacer Farm)". OK, but my original question still stands -- what impact does it have? Is it purely cosmetic? It has no (obvious) effect after the page is created. It's not a big deal, and I don't really care, but it has no logical explanation, or obvious benefit that I can see. Wm Magill - Valamar - OTG/OTC (talk) 13:57, 9 June 2012 (EDT)

Page name

I propose this page be moved to Quest:Worse for Wear (repeatable) or Quest:Worse for Wear (Hengstacer Farm) or something of the sort because from what I've seen, we usually use the "(deed)" suffix for deeds whose names are taken, usually by traits, such as Alert Guard and Alert Guard (deed). Not a big deal, but I think it's better to strive for consistency and reduce the possibility of confusion when we can. Silver hr (talk) 16:20, 9 June 2012 (EDT)

It sounded like the Turbine staff were refering to it as the "Worse for Wear" repeatable in posts in the forums. I prefer Quest:Worse for Wear (repeatable) over the current alternatives. RingTailCat (talk) 17:04, 9 June 2012 (EDT)
This page is now moved to Quest:Worse for Wear (Éogar).
The same-name quest is not Quest:Worse for Wear (Combe), and there is none without specifier as only two exist ( < 3 ).
I agree that "Quest:Worse for Wear (Hengstacer Farm)" would have been the optimal name as we favour "location" in disambiguation situations. However, that is way too long and there is just one Éogar so...
