Many players have encountered a rare bug where, after completion of Book 3 Chapter 7 in Rivendell, Aragorn does not happen to carry this quest. If you have encountered this bug, travel to Thorenhad and you will instead be given Book 4 Chapter 2 from Elladan or Elrohir. The bug causes you to skip the Foreword and Chapter 1 of Volume 1 Book 4. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Indywort (Contribs • User Talk).
