Soldier Graus: 'If you are looking for something more violent than scouting, who isn't, <race>? You could help Taskmaster Gukthor out of Dâr-gazag.
'He cooks the meals for the forces there and needs help with gathering supplies. He told me to set new recruits out hunting for slug meat.
'You heard me right, maggot. You'll be hunting slugs for their meat. When you've got a large bundle make your way to Dâr-gazag far to the south in the Steps of Gram and give him the meat you got to Taskmaster Gukthor, or come back here and I'll see they gets where they needs to be.'
Taskmaster Gukthor: 'Dallying about, shifting your weight to and fro, is not helping the army in any way. Want to make yourself useful then, do you?
'Right then. All over the Steps of Gram are these giant slugs...we seen 'em before in the slave pits of Carn Dûm. They're tough things with a grand bit of meat on 'em.
'You want to eat, and I want to cook! So we got a bit of a good thing happening here. Go out there and kill the slugs and bring me their meat.'
Background
Gruel comes from somewhere, and with an army as large as the forces Angmar have sent to the Ettenmoors, gruel is needed in great abundance. You have been charged with collecting the main ingredient in the mush Taskmaster Gukthor makes.
