Quest Text

Woodhurst Has Fallen A dark power waited in the shadows of Woodhurst for the moment to strike and watched while the city's champions squabbled among themselves. Now residing on the seat as Woodhurst's conqueror, the champions may be too weak to purge its growing influence.... Background The White Hand have conquered Woodhurst and are now openly marching in the streets. You must aid Herubrand, Gifemund, and Nothmar in reclaiming the city. Objective 1 Speak with Gifemund Herubrand must survive Gifemund must survive Nothmar must survive Speak with Gifemund ahead of you. The time has come to re-capture the fountain area, but you will need Gifemund's aid. Gifemund: 'We have a fight ahead of us. Herubrand and Nothmar said they would meet us at the fountain. We should capture and hold the fountain area while they make their way to us.' Objective 2 Capture the fountain area Manna must survive Scurfa must survive Herubrand must survive Gifemund must survive Nothmar must survive Defeat the enemy who hold the fountain area in Woodhurst. You defeated the enemy around the fountain, and can hear Herubrand and Nothmar approaching... Objective 3 Speak with Herubrand Herubrand must survive Gifemund must survive Nothmar must survive Herubrand has arrived at the fountain. Herubrand wishes to speak with you about the plan to retake the mead hall. Herubrand: 'This is only the beginning. We need to make our way to the mead hall door. Nothmar's men will stay with Manna and Scurfa, and will hold the fountain area behind us.' Objective 4 Defeat the enemy outside the mead hall Herubrand must survive Gifemund must survive Nothmar must survive The enemy has heavily guarded the pathway up to the mead hall, and appear to be guarding the front door. Objective 5 Speak with Herubrand Herubrand must survive Gifemund must survive Nothmar must survive Herubrand is standing outside the mead hall door. Herubrand wishes to speak with you after defeating Arnwi. Herubrand: 'Arnwi's fate was sealed when he killed Calin, and turned on all of us with the White Hand. 'They are likely prepared for us inside. We need to be careful. The time to end this is now.' Objective 6 Follow the others into the mead hall Herubrand must survive Gifemund must survive Nothmar must survive Enter the mead hall with the others. The battle for Woodhurst has progressed into the mead hall. Objective 7 Speak with Herubrand Herubrand must survive Gifemund must survive Nothmar must survive Herubrand is within the door of the mead hall. Herubrand wishes to give directions on how the group will approach the coming battle. Herubrand: 'You and I will take the right side. Gifemund and Nothmar should be able to handle the left. Keep your eye on them and help if they need it, but you should stick with me. 'We will make quick work of the defilers of our great hall.' Objective 8 Make your way to the throne Herubrand must survive Gifemund must survive Nothmar must survive Defeat the enemy throughout the mead hall and make your way to the throne. Objective 9 Speak with Herubrand Herubrand must survive Gifemund must survive Nothmar must survive Herubrand waits to speak with you before approaching those waiting for you at the throne of the mead hall. Herubrand: 'Thurferth, that vile traitor! He helped them take the city... 'Weapons ready! For glory!' Objective 10 Defeat Thurferth and the enemy at the throne Herubrand must survive Gifemund must survive Nothmar must survive Thurferth, a White Hand Emissary and a Dunlending named Cadwalader are standing in front of the throne. Those who organized the fall of Woodhurst now boldly claim ownership of the city. Herubrand signals to Nothmar and Gifemund to attack Objective 11 Speak with Herubrand Herubrand must survive Gifemund must survive Nothmar must survive Herubrand is near the throne in the mead hall. Herubrand would like to thank you for your part in aiding their victory. Herubrand: 'We are victorious! <name>, I cannot thank you enough for your aid in reclaiming Woodhurst from the cruel grip of the White Hand. We could not have claimed victory today without you. 'Gifemund and I have much to discuss about the future of Woodhurst. There is time for that. Today, we celebrate our victory.' Herubrand: 'If any enemy still remain in the city they will be routed out. With their leaders defeated there will no longer be organized resistance. The city is finally ours again.'
