"I know not why I am disturbed by Reeve Athelward's hospitality, but I sense that not all will be well for us if we remain. This night, we must leave Cliving like thieves, else danger takes us unaware...."
Background
Discomfitted by Reeve Athelward's unusually pleasant demeanor and apparent disregard for the severity of Rohan's situation, Burnoth decides to leave Cliving by night.
Objective 1
Speak with Burnoth.
- Burnoth, son of Baldeg: ' <name>, if you could distract the guard across the way, we might be able to sneak out.
- 'Stay with us when we move, however, for we may need your assistance along the way.'
Objective 2
- Distract the guard stationed across from the Riders' encampment
Burnoth wants you to distract the guard stationed across from his party's encampment.
- Help the Riders Four escape without being noticed.
- Cliving Guard: You inform the guard that you believe you saw riders approaching the city.
- 'I will go and look, for it is late, and there should be no Riders about.'
- You have distracted the guard

Speak with Burnoth.
- Burnoth, son of Baldeg: 'What is it? A chicken coop?
- 'Aye, we should avoid it...if the hens are disturbed, the noise will alert the guards.'

- Burnoth, son of Baldeg says, "Another guard! Perhaps you may find a way to distract this one as well? When the guard is distracted, we will continue."

- Stray Hound: The hound sniffs warily at the meat you profer, then takes it and wanders away.

- Burnoth, son of Baldeg: 'Thank you for your aid, my friend. Tomorrow, you should return to Reeve Athelward and let him know that we are grateful for his invitation, but must graciously decline.'
