Bestowal dialogue

"Having loaded their waggon and bid their friends goodbye, Runald's family departs from Elthengels. A most dangerous road lies before them...."

Background

Runald and his family have prepared their waggon, said their farewells, and are ready to begin their dangerous journey south to Edoras.

Objective 1

  • Escort the waggon along the road
  • Do not allow Runald's waggon to be destroyed

Runald and his family await you at the southern entrance to the village of Elthengels.

Runald's Waggon: 'Stay close, <name>. The Orcs could come upon us at any moment. We must stay upon the road and seek protection at the trader's outpost to the west.'
Runald's Waggon says, "Stay close. My wife and son will remain hidden from sight until we reach the outpost."
Runald's Waggon says, "On your guard! Here they come!"
Runald's Waggon says, "We are most fortunate to have you along as protection."
Runald's Waggon says, "Look out! More have returned!"
Runald's Waggon says, "Hold faith that the waggon will hold together."
Runald's Waggon says, "Won't they give up? I hope this is the last of them!"
Runald's Waggon says, "We must press onward. It will not be long before we reach the outpost."
Runald's Waggon says, "Take heed, <name>! Troll!"
Runald's Waggon says, "We are most fortunate to have you along as protection."
Runald's Waggon says, "We have made it, <name>! The trader's outpost, is just ahead."
The Waggon has arrived safely at the trader's outpost

Objective 2

  • Talk to Runald

Runald and his family have arrived safely at the trader's outpost along the road.

Runald wishes to thank you for aiding his departure.

Runald's Waggon: 'We have arrived! We would not have survived the journey without your aid, <name>. We owe you much.
'I must purchase some supplies for my family, and then we will depart the camp at once. We should find safety as we head south into Elfhelm's lands and beyond to Edoras. Farewell, and may fortune find you, friend.'
Runald's Waggon: 'May we meet again someday, <name>.
'Feel free to introduce yourself to the traders and thank them for their services. They have remained to provide aid when our King and Reeve have turned away from us.'
