Quest Text

Bestowal dialogue 'What makes you hesitate, <name>? Is there something you have not told me?' NOTE: Accepting and completing this quest will uphold Inhild's wish to deceive her father. You will not be allowed to complete the quest 'Speaking the Truth' to inform Hwitmon of what actually transpired. Background Hwitmon awaits news of your venture to Randgar's farm with his daughter Inhild. You have considered keeping Inhild's wish of deceiving her father, for the sake of his own happiness. Objective 1 Speak to Hwitmon and convince him of his daughter's good fortune Hwitmon can be found at his home within Cliving. Hwitmon awaits news of your venture to Randgar's farm with his daughter, Inhild. You have decided to uphold Inhild's wish that her father be told what would make him most pleased. Hwitmon: You attempt to convince Hwitmon that you encountered a very handsome and wealthy rider along the road south of Cliving. You describe how Inhild became enamoured with the man, and she accepted his offer to travel together to Edoras. 'Can this be true? Oh I just knew this would happen, <name>! I always suspected Inhild would find someone more worthy, but what incredible fortune! 'I only wish that she had introduced me to this man before departing. Nonetheless, I shall have to visit them someday when the roads are safe again. Thank you for protecting my daughter, <name>, and for bringing me such wonderful news. You have my deepest respect.'
