This ruined fortress is located in the south of Harloeg, east of Nindor. Here are some members of the Eglain: one is researching the stones for clues on the past, what did cause this land to become so cursed and wasted; another inventing ... ahem ... exotic food dishes out of the need. During festivals an odd soul has put himself in quite a pickle here.

Once, Ost Haer was a fortress of Arnorian nobles set in view of the wooded wetlands of Harloeg as a watchpost against intrusions from enemy armies. Long since fallen to ruin, it now stands bleakly as a lone haunted spot of civilization in a wild land.
