Loot, when used as a noun, refers to any in-game currency or items taken from the corpse of a creature. Loot is considered a reward for killing a creature. The term may also (less commonly) be used to refer to the monetary or item rewards offered in return for question completion.

The verb, to Loot a creature, means to collect items from the corpse of a creature, see Drop.
