Location

Hytbold is a settlement located within the Sutcrofts in East Rohan. ^{[57.6S, 56.3W]} Hytbold was recently burned down in an attack by Orcs from the East Wall. Rebuilding the town will allow access to class armor, special resource instances and more.

To start the rebuild of Hytbold and gain access to quests and NPCs:

• reach level 84
• Fastred will send you a letter to lead the effort to rebuild the town.
• complete Quest:To Hytbold (in your mailbox) and Welcome to Hytbold
• complete Aiding the Eastemnet quests for Tokens of Hytbold
• use the tokens to rebuild the town and barter

Reputation

To rebuild Hytbold completely you must reach Kindred standing with all factions in East Rohan (Men of the Wold, Men of the Norcrofts, Men of the Entwash Vale, Men of the Sutcrofts). Some of the rebuilding quests only unlock after reaching Ally and Kindred.

Starting Reputation

If you finished every quest in Eastern Rohan while leveling up, you should have already reached the following reputation standings:

• Men of the Wold: Friend at 18,100 / 25,000 toward Ally.
• Men of the Norcrofts: Friend at 18,700 / 25,000 toward Ally.
  • The quest [80] Speaking the Truth rewards no reputation, while its alternative [80] Inhild's Wish rewards 900 reputation
  • It may also be possible to get a little more reputation if you complete the quest [80] Leader of the Nink-hai or its alternative [80] The Prisoner Returns.
• Men of the Entwash Vale: Friend at 18,800 / 25,000 toward Ally.
• Men of the Sutcrofts: Friend at 19,700 / 25,000 toward Ally.

Accelerated Reputation

Using Small Reputation Acceleration Tomes is a great way to reach Kindred with factions even before you reach level 84.

The quest Aiding the Eastemnet enables you to complete up to five quests that are located all over East Rohan:

• Héalac, Daggaric, and Waldeg in Snowbourn
• Wulfin, Wigbald, and Garbrand in Harwick
• Gladsnel, Aldbéort, and Hwitnyd in Cliving
• Cendal, Dernstan, and Holenmal in Eaworth

All of them reward 1200 reputation for the faction of one of the four areas and 10 Tokens of Hytbold, which are used to barter for rewards or rebuild parts of Hytbold. See Hytbold Quests for an overview of all quests.

Once the town is completely rebuilt, the story of Hytbold culminates in the Witan.
