Host of the West

The Host of the West is a reputation faction with the March of the King in North Ithilien

Lore

The Rohirrim and Gondorian soldiers march with Aragorn from Aragorn's Pavilion in Pelennor (After Battle), through Osgiliath (After Battle) turning at The Crossroads (After Battle) to head north through North Ithilien to encamp at the edge of Dagorlad before marching on Morannon, the Black Gate, at the edge of Mordor.

The Rangers of Ithilien have moved from South Ithilien to the Camp of the Host in North Ithilien to prepare the way for them.

The Host of the West is encamped at Camp of the Host (Aragorn's Camp).

The Rangers of Ithilien hidden base is at Henneth Annûn in North Ithilien. They also maintain a forward base at Haerondir in the Wastes.

The goods available and requirements for bartering are different for each barterer.

Goods available are governed by Reputation level with the Host of the West. Some have minimum level 100 or 105 requirements.

Update 20 introduces 3 new Reputation barterers. These 3 barterers require individual reputation to access their goods. Similar to the areas of Dol Amroth.

There are items which are both quest rewards and drops which supply this reputation as well as provide the components for barter.

They may be turned in for reputation or used for barter.
