Dûn Covád is a landmark within Fasach-falroid in Angmar. ^{[6.8N, 37.6W]}

This is a town built on the steep mountain faces of western Fasach-falroid. No friendly citizens remain, the town is completely overrun by orcs of the Ongbúrz Tribe and Angmarim in service of Mordirith; with the orcs patrolling the southern section and grim elite Angmarim guarding the north-eastern section. At some locations, tomes apply Dread on adventurers coming too close.

The town has two entrances. At the fields outside the southern entrance are several small orc camps but it is no bother sneaking past these and to continue also quite far behind the first palisaded street; this gate may be used for all quests. The north-eastern gate, however, is patrolled by elite Angmarim, encountered already at the square outside the gates. Outside the north-western gates a path leads around to Carn Dûm; the gates are guarded by strong Angmarim Gate-keepers and two "Deadly Watching Stones" applying +5 Dread and the Evil Presence effect.
