Dale
Dale-lands cover the lands between Erebor and Esgaroth between the Lonely Mountains. The township of Dale was destroyed when Smaug descended on the Dwarf-kingdom on The Lonely Mountain. The men of Dale-lands then dwelt on the Long Lake and were known as Lake-men until the township of Dale was much later re-founded by Bard, the descendant of its lords.
