Throughout its history, LOTRO has always been a very social MMORPG.
Players found their primary medium of contact and interaction outside the game worlds, was limited to the official forums, https://www.lotro.com/en/forums/, or various fansites, such as LOTRO-wiki.com. Over time, Kins developed their own presence on the Web, and new technologies came into existence.
