Effects
Using this skill will apply Words of Courage to a friendly target. This effect stacks once per target per Captain.
Skill Interactions
This skill becomes Courageous Heart when using the Stand Alone toggle from the Lead the Charge trait line.
Trait Interactions
- The trait Courageous Convocation in the Hands of Healing trait tree allows this skill to be used on yourself.
- The trait Lifting Words in the Hands of Healing trait tree increases the healing of this skill by up to 20%.
- The trait Reversal in the Hands of Healing trait tree makes this skill apply Reversal Melee Damage to the Captain upon a critical heal.
Tracery Interactions
- Words of Courage Healing increases the healing of this skill by up to 55%.
- Vocal Skills Healing increases the healing of this skill by up to 38.5%.
Tactical Information
This skill has different uses depending on the Captain's specialization:
- Hands of Healing: Words of Courage is one of the Blue Captain's only two single target healing skills. It should be used on Tanks and fellows who are below full health.
- Leader of Men: Words of Courage is used to generate aggro, as well as provide some healing support to the fellowship's Healer.
- Lead the Charge: This skill is not commonly used in this form. When in Stand Alone, it becomes a strong self-defensive skill. Red Captains will sometimes swap into Stand Alone in order to apply this buff before receiving a major hit from an enemy.
