What can you tell me about Ghâmpronk?
'Across the river to our South a band of goblins has been digging for a month straight now. We recently noticed that the weapons of our enemies have improved in quality, leading me to believe those goblins found something in the hills. My guess is a vein of iron, something we could desperately use ourselves. We do not have the men remaining to run the mine ourselves, but it may be enough to disrupt the enemies operations and utilize some of the work they have already done for our own gain.'

What can you tell me about the Creeping Wood?
'Spiders are rare within the bounds of these lands, being found only within a small area of southern East Wall. Their venom is potent but not deadly so we send young warriors in to test their skills and see if they can triumph over their fears. Recently, our trials have stopped coming back from The Creeping Wood. The spreading darkness has empowered the vermin within the tunnels and I fear our young warriors may have been trapped within ever-tightening webs.'

What can you tell me about the Defence of Walstow?
'Our casualties mount higher and higher from the daily incursions. Now our enemy closes in from all sides, the East Wall to the north and small encampments to the West and South. Their horns and drums sound, they are marching upon us again. I do not know if there are enough of us left to repel yet another assault, but I know we will stand our ground until the bitter end.'
