Dunlendish

Hi! I've been doing some work on getting the lore pages up to standard, and as part of that I have been creating new language pages and working on redoing what's already there. I see you've made a page explaining the Dunlending language and how it relates to Welsh, which means a lot of my work there is already done. Thanks!

I would like to try to get it to match the language pages I've made in style. In those pages, I've been able to write the main body of the page from an in-universe perspective, for example, the Westron page only mentions English, Tolkien, the books, and the game in the Background section. I wish I could make the Dunlendish article match, but I would not want to get rid of all the Welsh equivalents you listed.

Do you have any ideas how to make it more like something straight out of Middle-earth without erasing that work you did? I suppose it doesn't have to be written like the other ones are, but I would like for them to match in style, and would change either one page or the others to make that happen. PS: I see you also did the page for the Hill-men of Angmar language. The same applies to that. Gnagerwine (talk) 04:19, 17 August 2018 (UTC)

Hi. Sorry for the late response, I've been very busy recently. I believe the out-of-world information on my two pages may be of interest to future readers so I would like it preserved, but I appreciate your intent. I suggest preparing new pages of your own. Feel free to duplicate whatever information you like from my pages, for example by cloning them then tearing out undesirable content. I don't think overlap of this sort damages the site at all!
