Thanks for your many good contributions in one of the most needed sections, loot-droppers (both at creature and item pages). Keep it up! You are promoted to ninja. -- Zimoon 02:22, 20 September 2012 (EDT)

Thanks for the promotion. As you can probably noticed, I wasn't very active last days. I'll be back in a couple of days from holidays Moinante (talk) 19:44, 2 November 2012 (EDT)

Mob Drop Items

Great job on adding those, splendid!!!
Just wanted to explain what I have kept in the "resources" box. Resources and ingredients of course, but also reputation items and recipe scrolls. I actually never thought to define a hard limit between things but I rather kept items with a "small item display" together and those with larger boxes separately. Actually more of a "looking good" thought that their use. Silly? Indeed, but actually looks is more important than people think, but any designer is so utterly well aware of. That is why I am keeping those healing potions with all the rest of "vendor-trash", their display boxes are huge. If you have some thoughts or objections, I am open for anything and always listening :)

I was adding them like This example. Quest, crafting resources, other, obsolete and trophies. I'll add them to "resources" as it makes more sense to me too. Moinante (talk) 20:18, 5 October 2012 (EDT)
Eventually the Boilerplate:Creature and Help:Creatures are updated, yell at me if something is wrong, please. -- Zimoon 15:57, 7 October 2012 (EDT)
I just found this handy template that may be used at item-pages Template:Item-drop. -- Zimoon 15:10, 9 October 2012 (EDT)
That template can be useful, but only if the item is dropped from humanoids and single type mobs. Unfortunately most items drop from several creature types and I am not sure you can classify them in tiers Moinante (talk) 22:52, 9 October 2012 (EDT)
Use it when you *are* sure, otherwise not. At least hides drop within those "tiers" and so do task-trophies. But who knows if there are even other tiers. -- Zimoon 02:16, 10 October 2012 (EDT)
I wonder wonder if the "class slot items" should be added to a box for themselves? Such as those for LM and Minstrel at Dunlending Tracker, would it be better having those between "resources/faction" and "uncommon/waste"? Either way, they are rare so their names really stand out, and exactly where they would better be really depends on who you ask. People looking for them don't really begin at a creature page but at the item page or lists of all such items per class, so this is really minor. Perhaps the outcome of even another slit on lootbox will look even more ugly? Already today some pages are like (items per row) 1-3-1-1-3-3 which ... yeah, I know, I was one favouring this idea ;)
-- Zimoon 04:49, 12 October 2012 (EDT)
I add them in "useful items: potions, gear, armaments". They have the same size, so the layout don't get ugy, and are (unidentified) gear. Moinante (talk) 14:08, 12 October 2012 (EDT)
Probably best so. -- Zimoon 14:15, 12 October 2012 (EDT)

Creature snap shots

Hi, those new snapshots of Moria creatures look great. Is it the new lighting there (since update 7), or do you have a trick to brighten them up? Anyway, thanks for putting new ones up. I've been waiting for someone to do that for some time! RingTailCat (talk) 00:31, 7 November 2012 (EST)

I use Alt+F10 to switch on a small area ligth (like a torch) and then put the mouse over the mob without selecting it. That way they are brighter (sometimes too much) Moinante (talk) 17:30, 7 November 2012 (EST)

Hungry Peikko

Since the Hungry Peikko stated it was found inside the level 65+ quest instance found at Sâri-surma I moved the page to Hungry Peikko (Sâri-surma) (which is the area name). Then I created Hungry Peikko (Jä-rannit) for the one that spawns at the end of the Quest:The Wayward Bull. But...

You added some loot to the old page. Was that for the instance (level 65+) beast? Or was it for the quest beast? Just to make the loot data. -- Zimoon 18:46, 1 December 2012 (EST):

Since I did not the fellowship instance, loot are from the lvl 47 peikko.
A bit OT: I've been a bit busy last days and was not able to add things to wiki, but since I play a bit some days I kept collecting data, so don't worry for almost disappearing and expect a "big" update in the following days :D Moinante (talk) 20:11, 1 December 2012 (EST)
Thanks. And don't worry but take care of "life" and have fun! -- Zimoon 04:55, 2 December 2012 (EST)
