Limdur was a Silvan Elf born in 1668 of Third Age.
Basic information
Physique
Limdur is standing quite tall at 6'1. He has mahogany hair, green eyes and his physical build is athletic. He often carries a bow, a dagger and a sword with him and frequently wears green clothing. His voice is calm and feels like touching velvet to some people. Limdur's facial features are pleasant and there is still a youthful blink in his eyes.
Personality
Limdur has many traits of a traditional hero in him. He is relatively well-spoken, chivalrious and mostly selfless. Even if he does seem like the typical knight-in-shining-armor, Limdur's most fatal weaknesses are his hubris and tendency to act before he thinks. Limdur is quite outspoken, but remains stoic when it comes to showing his true emotions and nearly always speaks in a calm tone and seldom raises his voice anywhere near loud. He accepts almost all races, but generally dislikes the dwarves.
Biography
Limdur was born in Mirkwood in 1668 of the Third Age. He has one older sister, Elanordes, but there is no recorded knowledge of his parents. Limdur worked as a border guard for most of his life in Mirkwood, but left his home somewhere in the 2860's and he never participated in the Battle of Five armies or any other battles occuring close to Mirkwood. Somewhere in 2416 of Third Age, Limdur found himself in the refuge of Edhelion only to be caught up in the middle of Skorgrim's attack. This inconvenient turn of events lead Limdur to fight alongside the elves of Edhelion against Skorgrim's forces in the first ever battle of his life and to the mixup of his life.
Six hundred years later Skorgrim was revived and Limdur was in a situation he didn't wish to be in. Used to having a life of no responsibilities and absolute freedom for quite some time now, Limdur hated the fact that he was put in the middle of Ered Luin's political struggling. He had to reluctantly join a small group of scouts on a mission to rescue prince Avorthal in the port city of Kheledul. Even if the trip was a success, Limdur was given new assingments in Rath Teraig and Bree much to his dismay.
As Limdur prepared to leave for Bree, he came accross his sister Elanordes. She strongly disapproved Limdur's departure from Mirkwood and mostly blamed him for childish behavior. Limdur tried to make his sister see the it from his point of view, but in vain. The two never really came to a real agreement and she was very disappointed in her brother. The two spent one day together, but Limdur snuck out in the cover of darkness and went on his way to Bree.
Two years later Limdur had settled down in Bree working for a man known as Strider. He still was somewhat bitter of his unlucky trip to Edhelion, but refrained from displaying open reluctance to playing his part accordingly. He mostly dealt with Dunedáin rangers and the problems they deemed him to be worthy of solving, this meant work Limdur referred to as "doing the Strider's dirty work". Limdur got rid of his cheap armor and donned a green and white hauberk. He often received ill glares from the xenophobic locals, but Limdur had nothing to fear for he was always fully armed when walking around in Bree.
