These two presentations, one narrative and one graphical, attempt to provide an easy method for comparing the three Mounted Combat Disciplines for this class.

This narrative table contains all of the Hunter Mounted Combat Skills and values at level 75; ordered by Discipline and Cooldown timer. No War-steed traits are equipped.

  • Mounted Discipline
  • Mounted Disciplines are used to alter the attitude and tactics used by your War-steed in Mounted Combat.

    Red Dawn

  • The Red Dawn Discipline turns your focus toward quickly dispatching your enemies in combat. Skills have the potential of dealing greater damage initially or over time.
  • Increases damage by 10%
  • Increases Critical Damage by 10%

  • Mounted Discipline
  • Mounted Disciplines are used to alter the attitude and tactics used by your War-steed in Mounted Combat.

    Rohirrim

  • The Rohirrim discipline turns your focus toward survival in battle. Skills utilize your mount as a means to avoid direct conflict and to assist you in defending yourself throughout the course of a fight.
  • Increases rider evade chance by 5%
  • +200 War-steed Armour

  • Mounted Discipline
  • Mounted Disciplines are used to alter the attitude and tactics used by your War-steed in Mounted Combat.

    Riddermark

  • The Riddermark discipline turns your focus toward controlling the tempo of battle against your enemies. Skills can influence the speed and attitude of your opponents throughout the course of battle.
  • Increases damage by 5%
  • +125 War-steed Agility
  • Toggle Skill
  • Cooldown: 1s

This skill's effects are common across all three Hunter disciplines:

  • 40m Range
  • Ranged
  • You release a projectile at your target without regard for aim. Though inaccurate, each successful strike with this skill will increase your chance to hit and your chance to score a critical strike against a target. You can gain these benefits up to 5 times. A successful critical hit will dispel all stacked effects.
  • 104.3% of Ranged + 3 Damage
  • Reduces the target's chance to hit by 10%
  • Duration: 20s
  • -5% Miss Chance
  • +2% Ranged Critical Chance
  • Duration: Expires if out of combat for 9 seconds
  • Cost: ... Power
  • Cooldown: 3s
