This page is an attempt to make sense of the "stuff" relating to crafted relics...

Trying to come up with a display idea that will allow one to find the relic (i.e. stats) you want, and then to back-track to come up with a list of Mats for some Craft with the minimum amount of effort.

This is a follow-on (or at least related) to Talk:Lotro-Wiki_Contributors'_Corner#Hoping for an edit to all Crafted Item pages

Crafted Relics

• Each Profession (with matching Crafting Guild membership) is capable of crafting Relics for use in Legendary Items beginning at the Supreme (Tier 6) Level with the use of the appropriate Guild recipes. See: [Crafted Relic Index]
• Each "Crafted Relics" recipe creates a "Barter Item" which can then be exchanged with your Guild Leader for a particular Relic. Some Barter Items may be exchanged for one of several different Relics. Note that all "Barter Items" are BoA.
• All "Crafted Relics" recipes ("Barter Items") are available from your Guild Legendary Recipes Representative, and require the "top level" guild reputation, according to the crafting Tier - Kindred, Master of the Guild or Grand Master of the Guild -- to acquire and use.

  • Siggir|Scholar's Guild Legendary Recipes vendor
  • Tailor's Guild Legendary Recipes vendor

  • Woodworker's Guild Legendary Recipes vendor
• There are two or three groups of Crafted Relics available to each Crafting Tier.
  • The First group of Crafted Relics is BOE. These can be bought/sold/traded amongst characters and can be used on any Legendary Item.
  • The Second group of Crafted Relics is BOE. These can be bought/sold/traded amongst characters and can be used on any Legendary Item level 61 or higher.
  • The Third group of Crafted Relics is BOA. Each character must craft their own! The Relics which can be crafted in this group are common across all professions.
• The first group of Crafted Relics only require the basic Tier Crafting ability (Supreme, Westfold, Eastemnet, etc.), while the second and third group of Relics require Mastery level ability, in addition to the appropriate Guild reputation.

In exchange for the "Barter Item," your Guild leader offers:

• Guild Relics - Relics which can be used in Legendary Items of various levels
• Guild Relics Mounted - Relics which can only be used with a Bridle - Level 80 or 85
