Life of Drasos

The son of Dramros of Mithlond and his wife Tawilin, Drasos was born on 24th September, T.A. 1004. Dramros was a carpenter who served Círdan the Shipwright. Although many elves departed from the Havens to Valinor, Dramros decided to remain until the very last ship is built. Tawilin's life is unknown.

Five Istrari came to Middle-earth around T.A. 1000. They were sent from Valinor on command of Manwë. Círdan the Shipwright and other high-elves of Lindon welcomed them. Young Drasos also saw them at close quarters by a fortunate chance. His father Dramros thought that Middle-earth was in grave danger because no one came from the Great Sea since Third age lifted a curtain. He trained his son as a decent Champion.

Drasos learned a lot of combat skills while he patrolled Falathlorn with other scouts. With Círdan's permission, Drasos finally left expedition to learn more about Eriador. From T.A. 1078 to T.A. 1293, he traveled all over the nook and cranny of Eriador and proved himself as a good Champion in many fights.

Around T.A. 1300, the Lord of the Ringwraiths, who became known as the 'Witch-king of Angmar', moved to north-easternmost corner of Eriador and found Angmar. By that time ... (continue)


Kinship : Rhymes of Lore

Drasos made the kinship, Rhymes of Lore, with his younger-sister Snowga in November of 2011.

The name 'Rhymes of Lore' is derived from one of Tolkien's word in his novel 'The Lord of the Rings'.

This kinship's house is located in Falathlorn homesteads (Iathlond, Haven street 8)

User Activities in South Korea

Though Drasos (in Korean '드라소스') was born in Chuncheon, he lived most of his life in Uijeongbu and Ilsan New Town. He graduated from Sogang University where he majored the study of the Korean Literature. He had period of rest for somewhile, then graduated the scriptwriter course in Korean Broadcasting System Academy.

Drasos call himself the Tolkienist. He have a considerable passion to study works of J.R.R. Tolkien.

Drasos have been translating many Epic quests articles of Lotro-wiki.com for South Korean users, and he also a member of Banjion.com, the LOTRO community of South Korea.
