Template talk:Deed/Doc

When writing this up, I tried to format it after other templates that already had some documentation put together (Template:Worth) and guidelines from Wikipedia. My goal was to bring together information that might ordinarily be scattered between the Boilerplate, the Template page, the Preload, and any guidelines agreed to on the talk page. It is my hope that this documentation could be, with approval from other editors, transcluded at the end of Template:Deed (see my Sandbox) and replace the hard-coded information there.

What I, individually, hoped to get out of this whole project was simplifying the template page itself so that I could work on it without all the extra code that's in there now displaying the Boilerplate and the Preload. This probably could have been done in a simpler way, but I figured if I was going to work on documentation, I'd do it all out - I do tend to go overboard with my writing. :) Sethladan 03:42, 6 December 2010 (EST)
