Template:Source needed

This is the template documentation for {{Source needed}}. It is transcluded from Template:Source needed/doc and may be directly edited there.

Usage

Use this template to identify an article that includes material from an outside source that is not referenced or cited. This includes, but is not limited to, information copied from other websites or the Lotro forums. Material taken from the game is covered under the general disclaimer and does not need to be cited.

This tag will insert the banner below and add the page to Category:Articles needing citations. See Help:Citation for more information on what and how to cite.

Parameters

nocat

(optional) If non-blank, the template will not categorize the page in Category:Articles needing citations. Useful for demonstration purposes (such as this page).

Example
