I moved Eregion into the 1-50 table, as it was a zone designed for when level 50 was the cap. Sweetmint (talk) 20:04, 30 December 2021 (UTC)

I changed the level requirement on Evendim from 30-40 to 27-40 to reflect all of the level 27 Oatbarton quests

Added RoR zones, changed Ettens level to 85 to reflect the new cap Sweetmint (talk) 19:07, 25 January 2013 (EST)

I noticed the some Moria zones were labeled as the zone name (The Waterworks) and others were labeled as their main settlement (The Chamber of the Crossroads), I've edited so all are labeled for their zone. Zirakzigil and Nud-melek are also now included. I organized the zones by Central Halls (Great Delving, Silvertine, Zelem & Nud-melek), Upper Levels (Durin's, Zirak) and Lower Deeps (Water, Redhorn, Flaming, Foundations) but I haven't thought of an elegant way to indicate that. Any help would be appreciated. Sweetmint (talk) 19:16, 25 January 2013 (EST)

Update 7 - Moria and Fornost

Several areas in Moria have been "nerfed" -- I started write-ups of the new areas added but haven't moved them life... some nasty graphics issues have been mucking up my system since the Update went live.

See: [User:Magill/Project_-_Update_7_Moria_Revamp] if anyone has the time/interest to complete and move the changes to live. I probably won't get back to them for another week or two.

I have not looked at the Fornost changes at all. "--Wm Magill - Valamar - OTG/OTC (talk) 15:43, 19 May 2012 (EDT)

I've updated Moria, Lothlórien, Mirkwood, and Enedwaith. I ignored the Epic quests, since those bounce around and often don't match the level of the areas in which they take place.

As for Fornost and the North Downs in general, I see a big gap: many quests start in Trestlebridge and other settlements in the west of the region, but they are not covered. However, I suggest we wait till the North Downs is revamped in Update 13 before bothering to make changes. Lifthil (talk) 19:44, 2 March 2014 (UTC)

Ordering

In my opinion the zones on this page should be divided by expansion (SoA, MoM, RoI, and so on). This would provide more useful information for players purchasing. I'll wait a few weeks, and will make the changes if no-one objects. --Thynhith (talk) 01:29, 20 April 2023 (UTC)

I wouldn't do that, cause not all zones come in expansions. Also small zones like Wildwood, Angle and Ephel Angren are probably not suited for it and I fear it will just clutter and be hard to read. What we maybe could do better is order it not from 50 to 100, but per levelcap. Only Ephel Angren might be a problem then cause it is a subzone of Angmar, but tbh on The Lord of the Rings Online there already is a table with what came per update. Makes sense to me. Every level cap may be a little too fine, I suppose we could have 1~50~75~105~130+ which are pretty natural divisions (Eriador, Post-Eriador, WotR, Mordor) or more broadly, 1~50~105+ (Golden Age, Silver Age, Standing Stone Age ;p). I'm well aware of the table on that page, but I believe this is the go-to page for many players. --Thynhith (talk) 06:43, 21 April 2023 (UTC)
I have done it in batches of 25 levels, and tbh to me it looks a bit off cause a lot of zones go over the ordering, like Minas Morgul which is 120 to 130. But, that is just my opinion. It could maybe be helpful for newer players. :D Hierok (talk) 08:06, 21 April 2023 (UTC)
I'm pretty happy with it now, though I'd still rather end the WotR at level 105, since the Black Gate is the last engagement of the war and the last level before Mordor. Imo it should be "Post-war" after that, since it's a historical term and the dwarven regions are more of a digression/interlude. But that's just my preference. --Thynhith (talk) 02:26, 13 May 2023 (UTC)

Static vs. flexible widths

Please do not use static width values for large container boxes, this breaks the page on small and mobile screens. Use percentage values wherever possible so those containers can adapt to whichever screen is displaying them. --Tharondir (talk) 19:29, 14 November 2023 (UTC)
