I followed the directions on the Great Delving pit. The coordinates correspond to the South end of the bridge to the Dwarf Lords Gate. There are no rails, only those little pyramid bumps, and none missing, nor are there rails anywhere near this location. I jumped East near the beginning of the bridge based solely on advice given here, and perished. Can someone provide some additional detail or perhaps more accurate coordinates?
I think that if you use either of the coordinates, you're fine, since both will give the same part of the deed. I completed the Great Delving using the coordinates for the bridge north of Dolven View.

Grand Stairs
I've used the coordinates for the Grand Stairs leap in Redhorn, to no avail. I've even tried jumping from the end of the path south west in a north east direction towards the GS, again with no result.
