This skill supposedly (according to the tooltip) applies a damage resist debuff; do we know if this is affected by ranged, melee, or tactical damage character stat? What kind of skill is it considered to be? Do we know the resist debuff numbers? -Adelas (talk) 00:29, 5 November 2011 (EDT)

The +incoming damage debuff (damage resistance isn't used in lotro terminology) is only applied when the trait "Spring Loaded Traps" is equipped. The magnitude is always +5%; buffs and debuffs are only ever affected by level, traits and legacies (never stats). As such, it should be included on the page under the Traits header, but not in the template, as it is not a standard component of the skill. In general, make sure you have no traits/legacies/etc that modify a skill in any way beyond increased damage/healing (as we do not include those numbers in the template anyway) when you add it to the wiki. //Fingolwë (talk) 08:20, 5 November 2011 (EDT)
Tip for gathering skill tooltip info: go to a bard and drag all your class traits away, without clicking the "OK" button and paying for it. If you mouse over your skills, the tooltips act as if they were not affected by any traits. You don't have to think about which trait might influence what etc, it's just an easy way. This also works the other way around: you can drag a specific trait in to see how it affects a specific skill. If you are done with your research, simply click "cancel" and you'll return to your previous trait set, without any expenses. --Ravanel (talk) 08:27, 5 November 2011 (EDT)
Just responding for clarity: i didn't create this page; i just came looking at it because i wanted to know if it was affected by the tactical damage stat (and if not, whether it was affected by me at all, or not - thanks Fin for clarifying). -Adelas (talk) 14:17, 5 November 2011 (EDT)
