Effects
Using this skill from behind or achieving a critical hit causes the effect Staggered to occur on the target.
Skill Interactions
Damaging skills against an enemy target when they are within the Bastion of Light hotspot have a 5% chance to spread Staggered on up to 3 other targets within the hotspot.
Trait Interactions
- The trait Disabling Strikes in the Fighter of Shadow trait tree increases the potency of the run speed debuff by 12.5% and the attack duration debuff by 10%.
- The trait Insult to Injury in the Fighter of Shadow trait tree makes your damaging skills have up to a 20% chance to refresh Staggered.
- The trait Radiate in the Fighter of Shadow trait tree increases the proc chance for Bastion of Light to spread Staggered by up to 30%.
- The trait Thrill of Battle in the Keen Blade trait tree makes this skill apply Thrill of Battle to the Guardian, up to 5 times. If this skill lands as a critical hit, all stacks are removed.
Tracery Interactions
- Stagger Critical Chance & Duration increases the critical chance of this skill by up to 11% and the duration of Staggered by up to 11s.
Tactical Information
Stagger is mainly used for its damage component, and is commonly used in Red-line as a filler damage skill. Its debuffs can be useful in landscape content and PvMP, as well as some specific fellowship encounters. This skill is not commonly used in Blue-line, unless the debuffs are required, and because of the difficulty in either critting or being behind the enemy target.
