Destiny of Social:Main Page

I probably tested the namespace. I know Seth has moved most if not all of the kinships to the Social section. I think most of the pages in Social box on the actual Main Page could be moved there. I had an idea.. but apparently forgot about it.. --Lotroadmin (talk) 03:14, 9 December 2011 (EST)

Giving credit where it's due, that was mostly bot work that moved the kinships over - EoD's or Amphoras', I forget which. My understanding was that you (Lotroadmin) wanted to use this as a space for less "factual" game information, so people could write guides that were more opinion-based and post them here in addition to our more "standardized" articles and walkthroughs and whatnot - that's in addition to kinship stuff, too, maybe RP events and who-knows-what-else? Rogue and I agreed a while ago that we want to make people keep character information in their user space, though. My sense was that anything under Social would be less rigorously monitored by the admin team, sort of how the kinship pages have been. Sethladan 14:16, 9 December 2011 (EST)
