Completing Aiding the Eastemnet will cancel this quest
This quest counts for the Aiding the Norcrofts deed.
This is a timed quest: 11 Seconds between each gate.
The first and last gates are at the foot of the stairs below the south entrance to Cliving.
Proceed clock-wise around the circuit.
You will usually be able to see a pillar of light over the next gate. If not, check the quest objective arrow in the radar. (Remove any quests that might interfere from the quest tracker.)
Ignore any mobs that attack you. You don't have time to fight them, and you will probably be able to ride away from them with no problem.
Does not require riding your war horse; any horse is fast enough.

Quest Text

Bestowal dialogue

'Every Rohirrim must be able to ride as if he were riding the wind, he and his horse moving together as if they were one. The best way to test this is to race.

'We have set up a course that travels from Cliving up into the southern Wold, around the edge of the cliffs, then down and back west along the road until you return to the city.

'There are thirty points to hit among numerous twists and turns and curves. You are welcome to try if you think you are up to the challenge.'

Background

The Rohirrim have a race course that loops out from Cliving, up into the southern Wold, then down again and follows a road back into the city.
