Walkthrough & Notes

The first point is northeast of The Tree of Suffering, in the low-lying area between the road and an unnamed orc-camp [12.3S, 47.1W] The second point is between two unnamed orc-camps, northeast of a Wounded Malledhrim [11.4S, 45.5W] The third point is on a hillside just outside of Bûrzkala [11.3S, 46.3W] The fourth point is between an unnamed orc-camp and a siege-engine cart in front of the ramp to Hongoi [11.7S, 44.9W] This quest requires finding each patrol point, in any order. Once you arrive at the correct place the quest will update. Patrolling the area is not necessary. Unless an enemy is standing directly on the patrol point, engaging them in combat is not mandatory, as the quest will safely update.

Quest Text

Bestowal dialogue 'The Orcs of Gathbúrz are a shattered force, but we must continue our forays against them to keep them from regrouping. I am asking the Malledhrim and our allies to mount frequent patrols through the area north of here, skirting their fortifications and engaging any enemies attempting to reinforce those positions. 'Are you up for the task, <name>? If so, I bid you good fortune. Return to me when your patrol is complete.' Background Handelen fears that the Orcs are mustering their forces in the northern reaches of Gathbúrz. Objective 1 Patrol the first point in northern Gathbúrz Patrol the second point in northern Gathbúrz Patrol the third point in northern Gathbúrz Patrol the fourth point in northern Gathbúrz The first point is north-east of Thangúlhad. The second point is to the north-west of the first, direcdly north of Kúfuzg. The third point is directly north of Thangúlhad, a little south of Búrzkala. The fourth point is just north-west of Thangúlhad. You should scout the waypoints of the patrol that Handelen has asked you to undertake and defeat any enemies you might find there. Objective 2 Talk to Handelen at Thangúlhad Handelen is at Thangúlhad in Gathbúrz. You should return to Handelen with the report of your patrol. Handelen: 'There are still a lot of Orcs down there? I expect there are still hundreds of stragglers wandering back into the encampments after fleeing from the force of our initial assault. 'The real problem will start when the first elements of that eastern army begin to arrive...we must be ready for them.'
