Quest Text

Bestowal dialogue 'With Cadelhin's awakening, it has become of greatest import for us to find the ancient resting place of his father Fernvael. 'Among the barrows, there may be markings near the entryways that denote who is interred at each place. They may provide clues to the identities of those who are buried within. Seek out these markers in front of the cairns. One of them will be Crug Fernael, I am certain. Look for the symbol of a crowned boar. 'The first cairn-marker lies to the north of here, the second to the south, and the last even further south, deeper into the barrows. If you find Crug Fernael, you should bring news of its location to Cadelhin.' Background The location of the final resting place of Cadelhin's father Fernvael has been lost over the years. There are a series of inscriptions which denote his tomb that, once deciphered, will reveal his location. Objective 1 Locate the correct inscription The first cairn-marker may be found outside a barrow to the north of the Hall of Sanctuary. Lhudd instructed you to find the cairn-markers which denote the house of Fernvael, bearing the mark of a crowned boar. This symbol may also be found among the barrows of Fernvael's followers. Lhudd: 'The first marker lies to the north of here.'
