Quest Text

Bestowal dialogue 'Curse my foolish pride! I should never have ventured into this worm-lair on my own. There are just too many of them, and now that I have found this safe place, I do not dare try to sneak away on my own. 'Can you help me to escape? I would ask that you not tell the other hunters, for I would be ridiculed for the rest of my life.' Background Machan foolishly sought to hunt fire-worms alone and ended up trapped and wounded. Objective 1 Talk to Machan when you are ready Help Machan to get out of the fire-worm lair. Escort Machan out of the worm-lair Machan says, "Let us begone from this hellish place." Machan says, "A moment to rest, please. I'm sorry to trouble you like this." Machan says, "Curse these wounds! The beasts can smell blood, and come for me." Machan says, "We've been lucky thus far, but I think I hear more up ahead. Be on your guard!" Machan says, "My thanks to you. I should be safe now. Please let me return to the camp on my own - I don't want the others to know I needed help." You have saved Machan Objective 2 Talk to Murdaigán Tell Murdaigán that Machan is safe.
