Perhaps if you took rubbings of several of the seals around Tham Varan and brought them to the Rangers, they might be able to identify them. Background The identity of those who once resided within Tham Varan has been lost to history. Perhaps the ruins still hold the answer. Objective 1 Inspect the crumbling seals (0/4) Tham Varan is east of Tinnudir and beyond Tham Nambarth. Gúrhebnir asked you to venture to Tham Varan and inspect several crumbling seals to determine the history of the ruins. Most of the seal has been destroyed, but a few lines are still legible Objective 2 Talk to Gúrhebnir at Tinnudir The Rangers are at Tinnudir, west of Tham Varan and Tham Nambarth. One of the Rangers will be interested to learn of the few lines you were able to read. Gúrhebnir: 'Those lines you read to me indicate Tham Varan was owned by a family from the south, likely Gondor. This is very interesting indeed.'
