This quest counts for the Aiding the Sutcrofts deed. Completing Aiding the Eastemnet will cancel this quest This is an instanced public questing area. Landscape Coordinates for Ghâmpronk are 65.1S, 54.1W but are inaccessible. To enter Ghâmpronk, talk to Waldeg and take the Instance. Iron is visible on a few locations as dark brown outcroppings from the ground. Watch for "The ground here looks to have some ore" then click on the pickaxe in the quest tracker. --Note: This process does not always seem to check out, and iron can also be found digging other places such as in the walkpaths.

Quest Text

Bestowal dialogue 'Every day, new warriors take up the fight to defend our lands. In order to fight, they each need their own weapons and armour; otherwise, the battle is short and unsatisfying in its results. 'The goblins have primed a mine for us across the river, at Ghâmpronk. Bring this pick, head to the mine, and gather what iron you can scavenge.' Background The iron being mined at Ghâmpronk can be used to make needed weapons and armour. Objective 1 Use your pick-axe to dig for Iron at Ghâmpronk (0/10) Iron can be mined at Ghâmpronk. Waldeg asked you to venture across the river to Ghâmpronk and mine iron. Waldeg: 'Let me know when you are ready to get your hands dirty at Ghâmpronk.' Enter the Public Instance: Ghâmpronk The ground here looks to have some ore Dug Iron at Ghâmpronk (0/10) Objective 2 Talk to Waldeg Waldeg is at Snowbourn. Waldeg will be pleased to begin making weapons and armour with the iron from Ghâmpronk. Waldeg: 'This iron will allow us to outfit many new warriors.'
