The quest reveals each waypoint objective in the following order: The north waypoint is in Emyn Lûm at [13.6S, 51.2W] The north-east waypoint is in Emyn Lûm at [13.7S, 50.0W] The east a waypoint is in Emyn Lûm at [14.5S, 49.5W] The south-east a waypoint is in Emyn Lûm at [14.5S, 49.7W] Goblin Spies are spread through the forest in the vicinity of Ost Galadh, including around each waypoint, making a clean approach difficult. Additionally, at random, the waypoints can be guarded by two Bûrzthrâng Skirmishers who must be defeated. Caution should be taken to prevent getting caught by both enemies at the same time.

Quest Text

Bestowal dialogue 'Good; you have returned. The Orcs have found some way to slip behind our post upon Gathburz above and are sending down small groups to try to waylay our scouts and messengers. I need you to patrol the surrounding forest and rout any of them you should happen to find along the way. 'We must not let them hamper our preparations for our assault upon Dol Guldur!' Background Fuirgam has asked you to undertake a patrol of the forests surrounding Ost Galadh and to keep an eye out for Orcs attempting to waylay scouts and messengers Objective 1 Patrol the forest north of Emyn Lûm and ensure waypoints are clear of enemies (0/4) The Elf waypoint can be found marked by a stone to the north of Emyn Lum. You should scout the first waypoint of the patrol that Fuirgam has asked you to undertake and defeat any Orcs you might find there. Fuirgam: 'Does it seem to you as if the Enemy's numbers are growing rather than waning as we battle them? It is because they are. 'When we launched our strike across the river, Dol Guldur was manned only by its garrison and the watch they had placed upon the river -- now we have received news of a great army approaching through the forest from the East. 'Already forward elements of this army have arrived to bolster Dol Guldur's strength, and when the main body arrives, we shall surely be driven back across the river. We have little time left to us, but we have nearly achieved our objectives, so take heart, my friend.' Objective 2 Patrol the forest north-east of Emyn Lûm and ensure waypoints are clear of enemies (1/4) The Elf waypoint can be found marked by a stone to the north-east of Emyn Lum. You should scout the second waypoint of the patrol that Fuirgam has asked you to undertake and defeat any Orcs you might find there. Objective 3 Patrol the forest east of Emyn Lûm and ensure waypoints are clear of enemies (2/4) The Elf waypoint can be found marked by a stone to the east of Emyn Lum. You should scout the third waypoint of the patrol that Fuirgam has asked you to undertake and defeat any Orcs you might find there. Objective 4 Patrol the forest south-east of Emyn Lûm and ensure waypoints are clear of enemies (3/4) The Elf waypoint can be found marked by a stone to the south-east of Emyn Lum. You should scout the fourth waypoint of the patrol that Fuirgam has asked you to undertake and defeat any Orcs you might find there. Objective 5 Talk to Fuirgam at Ost Galadh Fuirgam is at Ost Galadh. You should return to Fuirgam and report in. Fuirgam: 'I trust the Orcs out there were not too much trouble? They do not seem to have found a way through in any significant numbers yet, or we would be suffering a terrible setback -- but for the time being, they seem content to dig in around the tower and in their fortresses in Gathburz. 'That would be just as well for us, if it were not for the Nazgûl....'
