Walkthrough & Notes

Prerequisites: completing the Discovering the Descendant deed. This quest and the deed are available to players who have purchased the legendary edition of the Riders of Rohan expansion. Find the Horse from Combe. [22.1S, 52.0W] The only way to fail the horse session is to "Leave Instance" from the portrait menu. This quest has a 1-hour retry timer. The rewarded skill will appears on the "Active" tab, in the "War-steed Skills" section.

Quest Text

Bestowal dialogue 'The horse is acting strange as of late. He keeps staring to the south-east, always focused there. It's as if something is out there waiting for him, and he knows it.' Background For centuries the Mearas have freely roamed the plains of Rohan, only bowing before the kings and princes of the Rohirrim. Objective 1 Check the horse from Combe Do not fail the Horse session The horse appears to be staring off into the distance, as if he now knows where he needs to go. Complete the Instance: Discovering the Descendant Objective 2 Talk to Éogar in the Horsefields Éogar: 'So, he is eager to return to his herd? It warms my heart to hear he received his calling. I hope to see him one day returned to his true home.' Completing this quest will grant the Favour of the mearas skill. Note: The skill from this quest can only be used while mounted on a war-steed in the fields of Rohan.
