a few things:

  • you should create an example page for an npc so that other people know how it should look
  • think through what you want to see on infobox and tooltip, ideally tooltip should just be a shorter version of infobox

I'm reworking the tooltips so that they'll grab the first table with the tip info in it, from the source page, to just display that information. This way, we can just insert the tip class into existing templates and they'll show in tooltips. Part of the process will be to strip the formatting class info from the header of the info and use it's own format header for the tip table.

This way, anything we want as a tooltip can just have a modification to the table to declare the class and the link to it would just use a tip class.

I'll put the names of the classes to use into the code but I'm still working it out.

New NPCs since book 14

There are several new NPCs since book 14, e.g. in Rivendell, Gath Forthnir etc. Armour Traders for the sets. I have added some of them and working still on it, while submitting the item sets too. --Megildir 05:32, 14 August 2008 (PDT)

I only have characters up to level 34, but where can I help with adding new content from updates?? I have Evendim, so maybe I can look around there. --Bluedee 01:23, 21 May 2011 (EDT)

The Shire

I believe I have finished up The Shire. And since I can not get into the other places that need NPCs done for , I will check back to see what else can be done. None of my characters are level high enough to go to the other places that need work right now. Working on it though. --Bluedee 01:21, 21 May 2011 (EDT)

Looks good, nice work on that. If you don't have access to other places on the list yet, you could always check some of the places that are marked done. Some of them were checked a while ago, so even though they were accurate then, something may have changed in an update since. Whichever you do next, look forward to seeing more stuff :). Thanks Amphoras, I appreciate that! I can't believe how much fun it can be to do this! I'm struggling to get my Lore-master out of her 30's right now!!
