IRC link

Apparently freenode no longer accepts IRC links; can someone pick a new server for us to use? Also the text mentions ChatZilla but links to irc; seems like an inconsistency unless there's something I don't understand. David 07:07, 9 August 2010 (EDT)

Yeah, I just tried clicking on the link and it didn't work. I consistently have trouble connecting to IRC, so if there is an alternate way for me to get connected so I can chat with people "live" while editing, that would be speccccccc-tacular. -Adelas (talk) 13:34, 13 October 2011 (EDT)

For those who are having trouble getting ChatZilla or another IRC program to work, I happened across this webchat option a while ago which might help. It's ugly as sin, but a good fallback if you're traveling/mobile, too.

Moved

Finger slipped while entering the edit summary for the move, so I figured I'd post here: Most links on the wiki point to the "big-P" version of the page title (Lotro-Wiki.com:Community Portal), which was previously redirected to the small-p (Community portal) version. In the interest of simplicity and consistency, I updated the sidebar link and moved the page itself (back?) to the C-P location - pretty much all of our pages use full title case (much to the chagrin of some European editors who hate when Americans Capitalize Every Single Word, hehe).
