Description

Langlas (Sindarin for Joyous Sword) is one of the Rangers of the North.

He is first encountered in Ered Luin, he later joins the Grey Company and journeys south through Dunland, Rohan, and Gondor.

Langlas is first encountered outside Thrasi's Lodge, in Ered Luin. He fears no danger while supporting right and justice, but when it comes to the affairs between dwarves and Elves he often feels as between a rock and a cliff.

Langlas (Central Gondor)

Travelling through the Paths of the Dead, Langlas arrives in the land of Gondor and stays at the Camp of the Grey Host with Aragorn and Angbor.

Langlas is one of the Rangers who survives the Battle of Pelennor Fields, and joins the Host of the West on the march to the Black Gate. He can be found at the Camp of the Host, waiting for the final march through the Wastes and remembering his fallen kinsman Mandan.

He later moves on to the ruins of Haerondir, to scout the way forward as the Host advances. ^{[36.6S, 8.9W]}
